  At the Department of Cardiovascular Biology and Medicine of Juntendo University, we have access to abundant research funds for conducting research in a wide range of fields ranging from basic research aimed at Cell / Nature / Science to AI-based translational research and internationally-acclaimed multicenter intervention clinical research, etc. Our motto is to promote research that is highly original and advanced, with high potential for realization. We aim to implement the achievements of research in society through university-originated startup companies.

  At the Department of Cardiovascular Biology and Medicine of Juntendo University, we are focusing on both medical school education and clinical internship education. The purpose of medical school education is to train doctors and medical scientists to be highly sensitive, educated people who have the perspective of “scientists” while acquiring specialized knowledge and skills. Furthermore, we also provide education for them to become doctors with noble character, intelligence, culture and sensibility. In clinical internship education, the students not only acquire skills as clinicians, but they also recognize the importance of ethics and have a strong sense of mission as a doctor, as well as understanding and practicing medical safety. In addition, they proactively make presentations at academic conferences, thereby laying the foundation as researchers.
